Parkinson’s care in Germany: Strongly positioned – yet not equally accessible everywhere
Parkinson’s care in Germany is strongly positioned. Established neurological expertise, guideline-based treatment, and growing multi-professional network structures support a high quality of care. Despite strong structures and ongoing progress, substantial challenges in patient care remain. PD Dr. Annette Rogge points out that access to specialized neurological care varies greatly by region.

The Adamant Health symptom report – accurate insight into a Parkinson’s patient's condition
The report provides detailed and accurate symptom data based on surface electromyography (EMG) and kinematic measurements. It includes a graphic visualization of the variation in the patient’s motor symptoms, an overview of the detected symptoms and medication side effects, a summary of the patient-reported symptoms, and information about the patient’s overall well-being.
Living with Parkinson’s: finding my rhythm, one day at a time
In the earlier posts, I’ve shared the big milestones in my Parkinson’s journey – noticing the first signs, receiving my diagnosis, and getting started with treatment. Today I want to talk about the part that happens around those milestones – living with Parkinson’s every day.

Parkinson’s treatment is much more than just medication
Parkinson's disease changed my life not all at once, but gradually. And learning how to live with the disease has taken time. Receiving medication to help me manage my symptoms has been an important part of my treatment. But over the years, I’ve come to understand that it’s not just about the medication. Exercise, nutrition, and sleep all play a major role in how I feel and function each day.

Facing the truth: Receiving my Parkinson’s diagnosis
I was very fortunate to receive my Parkinson's diagnosis rather quickly. In a way, it was relieving to get a diagnosis – to understand what was wrong, and being able to get treatment. But that relief quickly turned into worry about the consequences of the disease and questions like ‘How will I be able to live with the disease?’ arose.
