Revolutionizing the care of Parkinson's disease
The first, research-based precision technology able to measure the visible and invisible motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
Data-driven disease management supporting personalized treatment and improving patient outcomes
Parkinson's disease is incredibly difficult to manage, putting increased strain on patients and their loved ones. Without clinically meaningful and actionable data on the patients' condition over longer periods of time, treatment planning is often based on subjective information and observations during doctor appointments.
Accurate insight into the patients' condition
Adamant Health has developed the first, research-based precision technology able to measure the visible and invisible motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
Our unique CE-marked data-analysis technology, based on surface electromyography (EMG) and motion measurement, provides detailed and accurate symptom data, essential for supporting personalized treatment that can be continuously optimized.
Our service uses a small, wearable device to continuously measure both neuromuscular signals and motor symptoms and provides an easy-to-read symptom report helping clinicians to make more informed treatment decisions for their patients.
-
Early detection and accurate assessment of symptoms
Clear visibility to even the patients' slightest symptoms enables clinicians to get an accurate picture of the patients' condition.
-
Highly personalized care
A detailed overview of the patients' visible and invisible symptoms presented in an easy-to-read report allows clinicians to develop highly personalized treatment plans for optimal symptom control.
-
Better patient outcomes
Objective follow-up on the effectiveness of the treatment allows clinicians to continuously optimize the treatment plan, leading to better symptom management and thus better outcomes for the patients.
Our patent-pending technology has been validated with 200+ patients and 400+ measurements.
Detailed symptom overview
Adamant Health’s data-analysis technology enables clinicians to get full visibility to the patients’ symptoms, and
• Separate symptoms from voluntary movements
• Differentiate between similar symptoms
• Differentiate side effects, like dyskinesia
• Detect and measure rigidity
• Detect symptoms not yet physically visible.
Measurement and analysis service
-
Wearable measurement device + patient diary
The patient wears a small measurement device comfortably at home and keeps a patient diary.
-
AI-based analysis
The measurement data is analyzed using a CE-marked medical device developed with our research-based data-analysis technology.
-
Symptom report
The clinician receives an easy-to-read report with detailed and accurate symptom data for the time of the measurement.
Our service enables clinicians to objectively measure the visible and invisible motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and obtain a detailed overview of their patient’s actual symptoms over a longer period of time.
Digital solutions for the benefit of patients
The specialist neurological department of the Paracelsus Nordseeklinik Helgoland, headed by Dr. Annette Rogge, offers a multimodal therapy program for patients with Parkinson's disease. To provide her patients with the best possible treatment tailored to their individual disease progression, Dr. Rogge opted for an objective assessment of motor symptoms using the measurement and analysis services provided by Adamant Health.
The next generation of Parkinson’s disease care
Enabling optimized care pathways with improved efficiency and better patient outcomes.
Patients are typically admitted to a clinic for medication adjustment and other treatments. The period patients need to stay at the clinic can be significantly shortened by measuring the patients’ symptoms comfortably at home prior to the clinic stay. Alternatively, the measurement can be carried out immediately after admission to the clinic in addition to the observation through the healthcare professionals onsite. The report with a detailed and accurate overview of the patients’ symptoms provides clinically meaningful and actionable data for the optimization of the treatment plan.
Optimal results can be achieved by following the effectiveness of the treatment in regular intervals, typically 4-6 times per year. The follow up measurements can be done in a remote care setting, or the measurement device can be installed by a home nurse or during a short clinic visit after which the measurement can be comfortably carried out at home. This allows to treat patients more effectively and with less interruptions to their daily lives while providing them with better care.
Other movement disorders
In addition to Parkinson’s disease, our CE-marked data-analysis technology can bring precise visibility to the motor symptoms of myoclonus epilepsy.
Please contact us to discuss how our technology can help to bring visibility to the symptoms of other movement disorders.
