Adamant Health and Neurohope Health partner to advance Parkinson's care in Spain
Adamant Health and Neurohope Health are pleased to announce a strategic partnership to introduce electromyography (EMG)-based symptom measurement to the Spanish healthcare community and support better identification of patients who may benefit from advanced Parkinson’s therapies. Together, we aim to promote a more precise and proactive approach to Parkinson's disease management, helping clinicians make better-informed treatment decisions and improving care for people living with Parkinson's disease across Spain.
A key challenge in Parkinson's care is the lack of objective, continuous symptom monitoring to understand a patient’s symptoms and treatment response. Adamant Health's measurement and analysis service addresses this need by capturing both underlying neuromuscular signals and resulting movement, providing clinicians with a more comprehensive and clinically actionable understanding of symptom severity, fluctuations, and treatment response.
This insight is particularly valuable when evaluating patients who may benefit from advanced therapies. In Spain, more than 160,000 people are living with Parkinson’s disease, yet only a minority currently have access to advanced therapies. Many more patients could benefit from treatments, such as infusion pumps, to achieve better symptom control and maintain their quality of life.
