An accurate and clear picture of your symptoms

Adamant Health helps people with Parkinson's disease by providing an accurate and clear picture of their condition to get the best treatment possible, improving their quality of life.

We make it possible to get the best treatment available

A Parkinson's disease diagnosis often marks a significant turning point, not only for those directly affected but also for their loved ones and support network. Adamant Health transforms lives by bringing clarity to the patient, the family, and the professionals responsible for the care.

Based on more than 15 years of research, we have developed a precision technology able to measure the visible and invisible motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. By measuring the motor symptoms themselves and combining surface electromyography with motion sensor data, this future approach enables unparalleled accuracy in symptom assessment and provides clinically meaningful and actionable data for treatment planning.

By bringing clear visibility to your symptoms and supplying objective information about disease progression, we provide clarity throughout your journey so you can have a meaningful dialogue about the condition and symptoms with your clinician.

  • Capturing your symptoms

We help you record your symptoms and transform the measured data into an accurate and detailed picture of your condition. This happens effortlessly without any disturbance to your daily life by wearing a small device on your arm.

  • Enabling personalized treatment

For the first time, accurate and detailed symptom data allows getting a better understanding of your condition and assists your clinician in the development of a highly personalized treatment plan.

  • Fostering a better quality of life

We provide the means to closely monitor the effectiveness of your treatment so that the treatment plan can be continuously optimized, leading to better control of your symptoms and allowing you to live a more independent life.

Measurement and analysis service for people with Parkinson's disease

Adamant Health’s advanced measurement and analysis service is provided through healthcare professionals. Your treating clinician will issue a referral for symptom measurement, initiating the process. The measurement device is set up at the clinic, and depending on your care plan, the measurement can be conducted either at the clinic or in the comfort of your home.

Typically, measurements last for three days; however, the exact duration will be tailored by your clinician based on your condition and individual requirements.

After the measurement, we will provide your clinician with a symptom report. The symptom report gives your clinician clear visibility of your symptoms so you can have a coherent and value-adding conversation about your condition and overall well-being. The symptom report will support the development of a highly personalized treatment plan, which can be continuously optimized to control your symptoms and reduce drug-related complications.

Wearable measurement device

A small, non-invasive device will be installed on your arm for the time of the measurement. During the measurement, you can resume your daily routines. The sensor does not need to be removed during the measurement, for example, for charging or personal care.

Patient diary

We ask you to keep a diary for the time of the measurement to record your symptoms, medication intake, and overall well-being. The patient diary, specifically developed for people with Parkinson's, offers an easy and secure way to share information with your clinician.

Frequently asked questions

  • The service is suitable for people diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

  • Surface electromyography is a non-invasive technique used to measure and record the electrical activity of muscles during movement or rest. Small sensors placed on the skin detect the signals generated by muscle fibers as they contract. This data provides valuable insights into muscle function, coordination, and potential abnormalities, making surface electromyography a powerful tool in medical diagnostics, rehabilitation, and research. It is commonly used to assess conditions such as neuromuscular disorders, monitor therapy progress, and optimize physical performance.
