Practical experience with different use cases from three hospitals in Spain

Date: Thursday, November 19, 2026
Time: 9:00–10:00 a.m.
Location: Room Andalucía 8

At the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Spanish Society of Neurology (SEN), Adamant Health and Neurohope Health will host a scientific session focusing on the clinical applications of EMG-based motor symptom measurement in Parkinson’s disease.

The session will bring together renowned neurologists from three major Spanish hospitals to share practical experience and present real-world clinical cases, showing how objective symptom data can complement clinical assessment and offer valuable insights into individual symptom profiles, symptom fluctuations, and treatment response.

  • Dr. Tania Delgado Ballestero, Consorci Corporació Sanitària Parc Tauli

  • Dr. Gabriel José Salazar Tortolero, Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa (CST)

  • Dr. Diego Santos García, Complexo Hospitalario Universitario de A Coruña (CHUAC)

In the session, Dr. Saara Rissanen, CTO & Chief Scientist at Adamant Health, will also introduce Adamant Health’s research-based measurement and analysis service, which combines surface electromyography (EMG) and kinematic measurements to capture both neuromuscular signals and resulting movements. By objectively measuring tremor, rigidity, bradykinesia, and dyskinesia, the service provides detailed information on symptom patterns and treatment response to support clinical decision-making and treatment optimization.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and exchange perspectives on the clinical value and practical integration of objective symptom measurement into Parkinson’s care.

We look forward to welcoming you to an engaging exchange on how EMG-based symptom measurement can support more informed clinical decision-making and improve the monitoring and treatment of people with Parkinson’s disease in Spanish hospitals.
