Adamant Health is growing and entering a new phase in its journey, and we are looking for a Software Developer to strengthen our team.

In this role you are developing mobile applications enabling our unique Parkinson’s disease measurement, connecting data to our cloud service, and communicating analyzed information back to the patient.

To succeed in this role, you bring prior experience in developing and maintaining mobile applications. You are also confident in developing backend enabling reliable and secure mobile applications. You are familiar with agile scrum development and related tools (e.g. Atlassian Jira and Confluence). Prior experience in developing medical device software products under a quality management system is considered a plus.

You feel home to working in a remote or hybrid setting with a distributed team. It is also essential that you are comfortable working in a dynamic start-up environment with products and business that are continuously developing, taking this as an opportunity rather than an excuse. You are motivated to work with the whole team on how to best fulfil the customer needs and learn from the feedback received. You are ready to challenge your own assumptions and decisions to find better ways to develop our software and its functionality for the benefit of our customers.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Degree in software engineering (MSc, BSc or similar)

  • 2-5 years of experience in developing and maintaining mobile applications using, for example, React Native, Kotlin, Flutter, Java (native Android), Swift (native iOS). You are also in a key role to make technology choices for our mobile development.

  • Experience in developing for Android and iOS

  • Genuine interest to work in a healthcare start-up, and learn new things all the time

  • Good command of English as the main working language (Finnish and/or German are considered a plus but not mandatory)

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Why join us in revolutionizing the care of Parkinson’s disease:

  • A meaningful job and opportunity to contribute to improving people’s lives

  • A chance to be a part of a dynamic and highly motivated startup team

  • Work with software developers and a diverse team of experts with various backgrounds

  • Freedom to arrange and organize your work (remote/hybrid/offices in Helsinki and Kuopio)

If you feel that you are the right person for this role with a matching motivation, background and experience, please send your application and CV as soon as possible via LinkedIn. Please include your salary expectations and your first possible start date.
